Mullis, Inc. was established by Mike Mullis during the late 1970’s to provide professional project location specialist services to companies contemplating expansion and/or relocation of business opportunities throughout the world (with particular emphasis in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Asia). Based in Memphis, Tennessee, J. M. Mullis has affiliates in Mexico, Europe and Asia.
Today, the firm typically does hundreds of millions of dollars annually in new project establishments for numerous companies of all sizes and types. Typical individual projects range in investment from $20.0 million to $500 million, depending on capital and technology intensity. The firm has an average completion rate of approximately fifty (50) projects per year. Over 70% of the firm’s work is credited to repeat client business and/or client referrals.

Each in-house and affiliate member of J. M. Mullis, Inc.‘s professional and technical staff has several years of economic development and site selection related experience.
Approximately 900 to 1,000 locations are evaluated each year, and several hundred location visits are conducted annually; resulting in thousands of interviews with key industry, business, and government officials.
J. Michael Mullis, Owner and President/CEO, has more that thirty (30) years experience in the business. He has personally completed more than 1,260 assignments, including:

Sheri K. Mullis, CEcD, is Senior Vice President of J. M. Mullis, Inc. having relocated after thirteen (13) years as Director of Business Recruitment at the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce in 1993. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Business from Texas Christian University, and has also been in the Economic Development industry for more than thirty (30) years.
