Governor Henry McMaster and Commerce Secretary Harry Lightsey join AESC U.S. Managing Director Jeff Deaton and Florence County leaders to break ground at the future site of AESC’s electric vehicle battery factory. The company’s $810 million investment will bring 1,170 jobs to the area, and future employees will produce EV battery cells for BMW Group.
