Site preparation for AESC’s approximately 1.5 million square foot, $810 million lithium ion battery plant in Florence is on schedule, AESC US Managing Director Jeff Deaton said.
“I am happy to say today that the site work is more than 50 percent completed. The building design itself is also more than 60 percent completed,” Deaton said. “Everything is on schedule today.”
Deaton said he expects the Florence facility to start mass production in 2026.
